Image Gallery Can remedial work have been done on an Airey house which still has its traditional external appearance?

Topic starter

We are considering buying an Airey house for which the vendor says remedial work was carried out in the 1980s but the certificate was not passed onto her by the previous owners.

What is noticeable is that the exterior of the house is of traditional Airey tiled appearance whereas I understood that remedial work usually included replacing the exterior walls. I recognise that a survey would be needed to confirm the position, but is the continued traditional appearance a good indication that remedial work has not been carried out?
