Information Cavity wall insulation in Dennis Wild house

We're in the process of buying a house we love, that is Dennis Wild construction. The surveyor's report has indicated it has cavity wall insulation installed - from the vendor it seems this was done ~8 years ago. How big a problem is this likely to be? The surveyor has indicated this could also increase rate of damage to cavity wall ties, and suggested an invasive inspection of the tie condition.
