- In light of the RAAC concrete issue where would I find out if Reema Conclad housing has this crumbling concrete? We purchased the property from the council many years ago.
It was built in 1970.
Also I wonder how big a problem this will be for council properties across the UK and how it will be tackled. - am I worrying unnecessarily? I have terrible anxiety but it says expiry is 30 years so are properties all over the Uk going to start causing casualties?
will all homes and businesses be required to get a survey for it? I can’t see how this will pan out or be addressed adequately it’s worrying me. Please don’t judge I am genuinely concerned and looking for advice. Many thanks S

Interestingly I tried to take equity release on our house due to illness and was point blank refused. Tried a lot of equity companies no luck. I don’t know if it’s true or not but was told the Reema blocks are reinforced by metal rods which start breaking up. One chap even suggested the rods become a fire risk which sounds nonsense/
I must point out I am rubbish at DIY let alone building but I have carried out a lot of enquiries
