Hi there
I am hoping to buy a property in Manchester. The surveyor has stated that We cannot explicitly state with any certainty how the building has been constructed or what"frame"it utilises, due to the fact that the inspection is non-invasive and we can not see behind the face of the walls or expose the foundations.
I have not had this with 2 previous surveys.
When I use Compare the Market to get an insurance quote it brings up info from the Land Registry records stating it is built from concrete, but I am not sure if this is wholly reliable and whether or not the frames are timber. Is there any other record I can consult?
kind regards
Andrew
