I have read an article on here that's states Doran builds in scotland no longer fall under the detective property legislation can anyone comfirm at which point this was revoked for scotlnad pleaae

Hi Serlina, on the 30th of July 2018 the Scottish Government repealed the defective designation legislation, under section 99 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014.

The one issue that I recall at the time of change in this legislation, was that the Scottish Government could not force lenders to make mortgages available for properties that were previously classified as defective under this act.
